The mission of the Graduate Student Association is to improve and advance graduate education at Western Michigan University through partnership, advocacy, leadership, and networking.
Supporting our University mission of being learner centered, discovery driven and globally engaged is crucial to facilitating the academic success of all WMU graduate students. The Association provides support in various capacities to graduate student research, and places diversity among its core values.

to develop, empower and amplify the voices of the graduate student at every decision-making level at Western Michigan University.
